Andrej Majcen co-founded Bitcoin Suisse AG in 2013 and assumed responsibility as Chief Executive Officer in January 2024. In September 2025, he stepped back from his dual function thus far, as CEO of the Swiss entity as well as CEO of the Bitcoin Suisse Group and will focus on his role as Group CEO, driving the global expansion strategy. In his previous functions within the company, he held different leadership positions within the Compliance, Operations, and Client Management Teams and significantly supported the fast scaling of the corporate structure and organization throughout the first ten years of Bitcoin Suisse.

Furthermore, before taking over the role as CEO of Bitcoin Suisse, he served as Head Global Expansion & Strategic Clients, driving the company's expansion and increasing its global presence, particularly in the Middle East. Andrej Majcen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration as well as a master’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of St. Gallen. Andrej Majcen has been recognized by Forbes DACH in 2020 on its prestigious list of 30 Under 30.
