Zug, Switzerland, September 1st, 2025 – Bitcoin Suisse announced an important leadership update, underscoring its commitment to international growth while strengthening its regional presence at the same time. 

Co-Founder Andrej Majcen has had a dual function thus far, as CEO of the Swiss entity as well as CEO of the Bitcoin Suisse Group. Going forward, Andrej will focus on his role as Group CEO, driving the global strategy, the expansion into key international markets, and steering the company’s long-term vision. At the same time, Peter Camenzind, long-standing Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer and Chief Clients Officer, has been appointed CEO Bitcoin Suisse AG, responsible for further developing Bitcoin Suisse’s home market in Switzerland, as well as our hubs in Copenhagen and Bratislava, ensuring the continued delivery of premium client-centric crypto financial services. Peter’s appointment represents a natural progression and ensures continuity in the leadership of the Swiss entity. 

This leadership adjustment reflects Bitcoin Suisse’s dual ambition: scaling its international footprint while at the same time reinforcing its strong base in Switzerland. The Group continues to advance its global licensing roadmap, strengthen its regional offices, and align with regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
